About

My musical RIO UPHILL received its world premiere in the Fall of 2024 in Rio de Janeiro at Teatro Adolpho Bloch and to critical and commercial acclaim. The production then transferred to Teatro Villa Lobos and played from January 18th-February 17th, 2025. The show also was adapted into an independent film and received 23 Awards and Official Selections from Film Festivals around the world. It was developed at the ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop  with Stephen Schwartz and produced Off-Brodway in The York Theatre's Developmental Reading Series. The show was also a finalist for the Richard Rodgers Award, the Jonathan Larson Grant and is endorsed by the General Consulate of Brazil. My original musical comedy, WHAT DO CRITICS KNOW?,  set in The Big Apple, was a sold-out, award-winning Next Link Full Production at the New York Musical Theatre Festival. It has been performed at Feinstein’s/54 Below and at Center Stage in 2018.  My songs and musicals have been performed at The York Theatre, The Signature Theatre, Feinstein’s/54 Below, Theatre Row, The Triad, The Blue Note, The Westside Theater, The Sky Lounge, among others.

Past written and performed plays include "Ghost Light", "The Suffragette" (World Premiere at The Balch Arena Theatre) and "The Appraiser’s Desk" (performed at Center Stage and The Dramatist Guild Music Hall)

In addition to my work in the theater, I founded a video production company, MWG Productions LLC.  A graduate of Tufts University, I am a member of The Dramatists Guild and ASCAP.
